On April 9, 2021, representatives of the State Administration of Water Transport took part in the International Scientific and Practical Online Seminar “Rational Environmental Management and Green Economy in the Context of Transboundary Cooperation”. This event was held within the framework of the implementation of the objectives of the Memorandum signed by the Polessky State University and the Institute of Water Problems and Land Reclamation of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine.
The event was opened by the rector Valeriy Dunay on the part of the Polessky State University, the vice-rector for scientific work Nikolai Kruchinsky was offline. A representative of Technopark Polesie LLC took an active part; Faculty of Engineering and Biotechnology, Faculty of Economics and Finance. Within the framework of the seminar, the participants presented their developments in the areas of forming an effective structure for innovation, climate management and rational nature management, environmentally friendly shipping, organic farming, engineering in the segments of alternative sources of energy supply and water treatment.
As a result of the event, a concept was developed for further steps of cooperation with the involvement of partners from international organizations, for example, UNDP Belarus and UNDP Ukraine. At the same time, the goal is the transition to the scientific and practical plane of transboundary cooperation of the Polessky State University and the Institute of Water Problems and Land Reclamation of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine.
