The objectives of the state institution "State Administration of Water Transport"
Our objectives
- ensuring accessibility, improving the quality and safety of water transport services;
- ensuring the fulfillment of the international obligations of the Republic of Belarus in the field of merchant shipping, including:
- management of state-owned facilities located on inland waterways;
- development of inland waterways and transport infrastructure on them, organization of their operation;
- ensuring safe conditions for navigation on inland waterways and the safety of navigable hydraulic structures;
- regulation of port activities;
- fulfillment of the obligations of the Republic of Belarus under international treaties, including the performance of the functions of the national maritime administration.
