Specialist of the department of maritime administration and administrative procedures
Duties:
- Take part in the investigation of transport accidents with ships flying the State flag of the Republic of Belarus, controls their accounting, analyzes the causes of their occurrence, develops action plans to prevent them and control the implementation of these measures;
- Exercise control over the activities of recognized organizations in the exercise of their powers to issue certificates and documents to ships and provide other services in accordance with the requirements of international treaties;
- Carry out vulnerability assessment and establishment of the security level for ships flying the State flag of the Republic of Belarus in accordance with the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea 1974 and ISPS;
- Coordinate shipboard plans for ballast water management and treatment, oil spill response, marine pollution prevention, in accordance with the requirements of international agreements;
- Organize and control the issuance of logbooks, declaration forms and other documents provided for by law and international treaties to ships.
Requirements:
- Work experience in the field of maritime transport and (or) administrative procedures at least 6 years;
- English language skills.

Specialist of the port development and regulation department
Duties:
- Design for entrusted ports:
- fire-fighting regime in ports;
- procedure and conditions for delivery to ports and departure from ports of goods by rail, road or water transport;
- the procedure and conditions for storing goods in port warehouses;
- the procedure and conditions for servicing passengers, as well as the activities of tourist organizations in ports.
- Participate in the investigation of accidents that occurred on the territory of the port with water transport.
- Take part in the certification and certification of the crew of ships of inland water transport of the Republic of Belarus.
- Develop contracts necessary for the implementation of activities in the specified areas and accompany their conclusion.
- Develop proposals for amending the regulations in the field of ports.
- Notify the announcement of the dates for the opening and closing of navigation, the existing restrictions on navigation, including the conditions office conditions at the entrusted ports.
- Organize the introduction of advanced technologies and progressive methods of operating the fleet and handling it in ports, aimed at reducing the cost and increasing labor productivity in transportation and transshipment operations.

Specialist in scope of the Inland Waterways Development Department
Duties:
- Develop a plan for the maintenance of navigable hydraulic structures, participate in the development of the Plan of track works in accordance with the Instruction on the procedure for performing track works and maintenance of navigable hydraulic structures on the inland waterways of the Republic of Belarus;
- Timely prepare proposals on amendments to the Plan for the maintenance of navigable hydraulic structures;
- Prepare proposals for the formation of the Register of the infrastructure of inland waterways. Participate in the coordination of navigation signs placement schemes;
- Prepare materials for drawing up pilotage charts;
- Systematically analyze the inland waterways of the Republic of Belarus and the results of the work carried out, make proposals for promising schemes for improving navigational conditions;
- Participate in the preparation of documents, as well as draft agreements on a range of issues subordinate to the department;
- Supervise the correctness of drawing up and the volume of submitted documents related to the acceptance of works on the maintenance of navigable hydraulic structures. Duties:
- Carry out control over the progress and acceptance of completed track works (dredging, straightening, sweeping, bottom cleaning, prospecting works, maintenance of navigation equipment on inland waterways) and works on the maintenance of navigable hydraulic structures on the entrusted sections of the waterway;
- Analyze the physical volumes of track works performed by the enterprises of inland waterways and prepare proposals for their planning, taking into account the characteristics of the sections of the inland waterway on the entrusted sections of the waterway;
- Prepare passports of rifts on the entrusted sections of the inland waterway. Timely enter up-to-date information in passports. Prepare proposals for amendments to the Register of the infrastructure of inland waterways.
